I wrote this song a few days before I left Denver to move back to Arizona. I had some family issues going on and felt thats where I needed to be. The problem was that feeling you get when you go home. Almost like restarting. I didn’t know where I was going to end up but lets just say I didn’t stop moving forward.

I wrote this song about someone I used to have feelings for when I was younger. When you compare both of our lives, sometimes I think that maybe things would have been different if I had really told them how I feel. Seeing both of us not in a relationship, the term “Both Alone” comes to fruition.

Run represents the darkness that consumes you when moving past an emotional event. It’s not always going to be positive.. You deal with anger, regret, guilt, and many other dark emotions. The lyrics in Run represent wanting to go back to a relationship that you left, but as we know, it doesn’t always work out that way.
